Having a legacy of a private club, much of Soho House space has been dedicated to the enjoyment of its guests who can stay in one of the 24 rooms and take advantage of the hotel’s playground.

Location
  • Starting from the top, you can spend an entire afternoon lazing around the stripy rooftop pool lounge.

Come down a level to the 6th floor and a whole urban chic playground opens up to you with its restaurant, club bar, drawing room, The Pantry Bar (a cheese and meat counter) and games room.

On the 3rd floor you’re invited to indulge and rejuvenate in Cowshed Spa, especially handy if you have an invitation later that evening to one of the events that take place on the 4th and 5th floor – in the Club Room (adjacent to a private screening room) or the The Library.

The handcrafted rooms seem to have been set like a scene to show off a single wow-factor feature – be it an ornamental bed, exposed brick wall, beamed ceiling or an eye catching piece of art.

The class system defines the hotel accommodation pretty clearly – you can pick a room that is Small, Medium, Big, and Large. But it’s not just about the square footage. Extra space clearly provides more canvass and so the playfulness of the design increases accordingly with each room category.

    Good to Know

The hotel sits amidst the Meatpacking District, the main clubbing area of downtown.

  • Accommodation

24 rooms – Small, Medium, Big, and Large.

Top rooms – Medium rooms are a good entry level but Large rooms play the first fiddle.

Prices start from around £370 a night, typically excluding breakfast.

    Eat & Drink

Under Swarovski chandeliers you can taste food that is as impressive as the Manhattan views that surround it.

Adjacent to restaurant stands Club Bar, a space filled with booths, an antique bar, and a wood-burning fireplace that set the scene for a relaxing drink.

    Activities

The hotel has a well equipped fitness centre and the rooftop pool is heated all year round.

    Relaxation

Cowshed Spa is an oasis of relaxation and rejuvenation achieved in its treatment rooms (massages, body scrubs, facials, waxing and more), private eucalyptus steam rooms and a relaxation room.

On the 6th floor you’ll also find the Drawing and Game room to take your mind off day to day chores.
