Just like with the menu, The Royal Oak has cleverly applied few modern touches to its interiors, creating a contemporary twist on a classically quaint country pub. In between the dark beams, a fresh lick of white paint helps to lighten up the dining room of scrubbed wood, comfy cushioned chairs, roaring fire, and exposed brick walls.
After a satisfying meal you can retire to a spacious room, once again brought to 21st century with a built-for-extreme-comfort bed hidden under Egyptian cotton sheets and the inn’s own duvet. The bathrooms are likely to put your own to shame and your morning begins with your favourite paper and sumptuous breakfast.
