  • The Montpellier Chapter’s neoclassical façade sets the expectations of a classical establishment but once over the doorstep, you’ll discover a harmonious combination of sleek contemporary with traditional features of Georgian times.

    Placed at the buzzing centre of Cheltenham, the 61 bedroom Montpellier Chapter regularly becomes a superb base for racing goers and those visiting the Cotswolds. All rooms (divided into 4 categories) extend the courtesy of handmade furniture, fine Egyptian cotton and modern bathrooms – monsoon showers, REN products, fluffy bathrobes.

    And that’s not where the list of mod cons and amenities of your room end. Take Montpelier’s word for it and pack lightly – items such as pre-loaded iPods, free Wifi, flatscreens, Nespresso machines, kettles, ironing boards and irons, hairdryers, and Aromatherapy Associates toiletries come as standard.

    Good to Know

    The hotels runs a small spa offering relaxation through a number of treatments, there is also a fitness room, plus as a guest you’ll also enjoy a free access to the nearby Cheltenham Ladies’ pool and tennis courts.

    While the Feature rooms are lovely, you should note that the in-room bathtubs and showers offer little privacy.

    Breakfast comes at an extra charge.
