Location
  • Quite eclectic in its designs drawing on the its past of a country pub, The Feversham Arms Hotel is a genius combination of the old and battered that gradually tips into the shiny and sleek.

In the public quarters you’ll find a reminder of the past in the form of well worn furniture accompanied by exposed stone walls while in the rooms you can look forward to a cosy atmosphere created with the help of flowery wallpaper and soft upholstering. The wet rooms on the other hand – be it your bathroom, the pool, or the spa – are definitely present in this century using plenty of glass, sharp geometrical shapes, and slate.

As for the spa, its heated outdoor pool, hot tub, and a decent list of treatments should help you rejuvenate from the work week or an exhausting ramble in the countryside.

    Good to Know

On a busy weekend, the spa facilities can feel a little crowded.

While some may appreciate it, others might like to be aware that all rooms are dog friendly.

  • Accommodation

29 rooms – Pettit and Classic Double (some of which come with shower only), Classic Junior and Spa suites.

Prices range between £120 to £260 a night, including full Yorkshire breakfast.

    Eat & Drink

Under the spell of Michelin starred Chris Staines, the hotel’s restaurant delivers modern British cuisine utilising much of its local resources.

You’ll never be short of drink with the front lounge hidden in the snug and to the rear where you can relax with your favourite glass and daily newspaper.

    Activities

The pool is spacious enough for few lengths and there are of course the Yorkshire moors to keep you on the move.

    Relaxation

The tucked away spa is there to take care of the body and mind while the hot tub, swimming pool and the Mediterranean terrace provide further indulgence.
