Highlights
Location
  • The location of Stanshope Hall is very privileged being a stone’s throw from some of the best attractions in the area. The famous Dovedale walk is steps away from the front door as is the picturesque village of Ilam.

The accommodation itself is homely, welcoming and hard to leave behind. With only 3 bedrooms on offer, this country house can never feel crowded. In summer you have the use of the well kept garden to bask in the sun whereas in winter the drawing room steps up as the perfect escape from the chills of the weather.

    Good to Know

Internet is available but only in the drawing room helped along by a network extender that you may have to request.

    We Loved

The drawing room is why you almost wish for a heavy snow fall so that you don’t have to leave. In the morning the homemade toasted nutty breakfast cereal goes down a treat.
