Location
  • Though traditionally handsome, the front exterior doesn’t quite prepare you for the awesomeness awaiting you at the back of Ashmount Guest House. There in front of you a magnificent view opens up, completely diverting your attention from your original intent to find the entrance and check in.

Once you’ve satisfied your sudden craving for the Yorkshire dramatic landscape – an inspiration to the Brontë sisters who’d spent a considerable part of their lives here – follow through the back entrance (you might have to ring the bell) to discover the perfect weekend getaway.

Whether you’ve spent your day hiking the Yorkshire Dales or exploring the world of Bronte sisters, you’ll find that coming back to Ashmount Guest House is a rejuvenating experience.

Start your evening with a pick up drink at the cozy bar in front of the warming fire place, treat yourself to a regionally inspire feast at the hotel’s restaurant before finally retiring to your suite, either for a relaxing a dip in a whirlpool bath, shiny copper tub or your own private hot tub.

    Good to Know

Though very much in keeping with its Victorian heritage and historic surroundings of Haworth, the hotel hasn’t forgotten the importance of mod cons – flat screen TVs, i-pod docking stations, wifi, and more have been installed for your comfort.

Four rooms including 2 hot tub suites are located in a cottage across the lane from the hotel which translates to exactly a 30 second walk.

If planning a weekend at Ashmount Guest House, you’ll have to stay at least 2 nights.

Your children have to be at least 10 years of age if coming along.

    We Loved

The romantic spin on the decor, especially in the Suite Dreams – an upstairs four poster bedroom furnished with a double-ended freestanding copper bath reflected in a floor to ceiling period mirror. If travelling with friends, get them to book the suite downstairs which comes with a hot tub for four.

The superb views from the hotel’s mature garden and the overall ambience of the hotel, a great spot for a romantic weekend away.

  • Accommodation

14 rooms – 2 hot tub suites (The Hideaway and The Retreat) on the ground floor and 2 suites (Suite Dreams and Tranquility) upstairs can be found at No21 – a cottage across the lane from the hotel – and in the main house are 3 hot tub rooms (Serenity, Secret Garden, and Sanctuary) and further 7 stylish bedrooms.

Prices start from under £100 mid week. For hot tub suites expect to pay between £200 – £245 a night, including a full Yorkshire breakfast.
