Barcelona’s approach to hotel design is to blend ancient history with modern elegance and this philosophy comes truly alive at the stunning Neri.

Features
Location
  • The hotel has carefully preserved the structural integrity of a Medieval palace and combined it with sleek interiors perfectly complimenting the historical background.

The handful of rooms are divided into standard, deluxe, junior suites and Neri suite. Regardless of class, all rooms are well equipped with free wifi, Hi-Fi and DVD player, plasma TV, and many more modern luxuries. You won’t be disappointed with the entry level rooms but some of the junior suites come with their own terrace.

    Good to Know

You can alway tell how good a hotel is by its entry level rooms and at Neri there’s absolutely nothing standard about their standard rooms. But for all its beauty, Hotel Neri is an expensive mistress to keep.

Don’t forget to take a look at Roba Estesa, the hotel’s outdoor urban garden, where to enjoy a drink while taking in Barcelona’s skies and rooftops.

  • Accommodation

22 rooms – Standard, Deluxe, Junior Suites and Neri Suite.

Top rooms – the entry level Standards won’t disappoint and from there it only gets better.

Prices start from £230 a night, typically including breakfast.

    Eat & Drink

Romantic and quite magical with its medieval stone walls and two great arches, the restaurant serves Mediterranean flavours that changes four times a year, according to seasons. Located on the ground floor, you’ll have the opportunity to admire the views of Plaza Sant Felip Neri.

The Lounge-Bar – sexy in the velvet fabrics, original set of lamps and large windows – creates equally as attractive long drinks, cocktails, and snack menu. Drinks can be also enjoyed on the terrace, an oasis of calmness in the heart of the Gothic quarter.

    Activities

Nothing on the premises as such but there is the service of a personal shopper if you wish to explore Barcelona through your Visa, Amex or whatever plastic you have in your wallet.

    Relaxation

Sink deep into the sofa and enjoy a quiet read in the surroundings of the Library – a room with original wood coffering illuminated by a glass chandelier and large windows looking out to the Gothic quarter.

Boa Space is the hotel’s own little gallery centered around a 90-meter knotted velvet plait – a huge bean bag to you and me – from which to view the art.

The hotel has a small selection of in-room massage treatments.

    Essentials

Parking – a public car park is nearby (Saba Catedral) where the hotel porter can meet you to help with your luggage.

    Wifi – free throughout.

    Room service – 24/7.

    Children – welcome.

Pets – not allowed to our knowledge.
